AUGUST 2022 SHOW "SUMMER SPLASH"

JULY 2022 FEATURES HASHIM AL SAMARRAI

Throughout July, gallery visitors will experience the power and dynamic quality of an internationally acclaimed Guest Artist from half a world away, Hashim Al Samarrai. Hashim is one of Iraq’s premier oil painters. His exhibition at Brush Strokes, titled “Crossroads: Where East Meets West,” will be his third in the United States and conveys iconic images of Middle-Eastern culture with enchanting depictions of landscapes and natural features of America, and sites that symbolize democracy.

The exhibition’s opening reception was held on July 1, 2022 from 6 - 9 PM.

The show BLUE raised money for World Central Kitchen: Ukraine, run by Jose Andres. A check for more than $1500 is heading to this worthwhile organization. Thanks to everyone who came to the show and supported this charity.
